Water balancing techniques are strategies for resolving key theoretic and applied hydrologic challenges. The primary goals of the study to examine climatic characteristics conditions that will be utilized in water approach used Rawandoz located northeastern Iraq. meteorological data from Soran station’s 2000 2020 were analyze climate patterns research region. annual rainfall average is 750.50 mm, while evaporation 1497.80 mm. monthly humidity, temperature, sunshine remained 73.8 percent, 18.50 °C, 8 hours/day, respectively. Kharrufa technique has been calculated potential evapotranspiration (PET), deficit surplus Soil Conservation Service method (SCS) calculate surface runoff (Rs). evapotranspiration, surplus, 1900.27 430.10 1579.90 respectively, with an 376 standardized precipitation index (SPI) was produced assess drought over a variety duration; mean value 0.562, indicating area moist. results many classification reveal humid moist classification.
